Hmmm?

I saw these tracks when I looked out the glass door in my studio.  Clearly squirrel tracks but such a strange pattern.  Down one tree, sharp right, stop turn back and up another tree.  Forms a nice "Y" shape.  Something startled him/her apparently, maybe an eagle which would love nothing better than a plump squirrel for breakfast.  Dramas and mysteries abound in nature.
