Orrest Head

Lady Linda and I went for our morning walk around Sedbergh and along the river while Mr W got some work done.

I got tonight's dinner ready then we headed out to Orrest Head, as recommended by Puffin yesterday. We chose the harder route up but where rewarded with beautiful views over lake Windermere. It was stunning up there.

We then did the easy route down, following the accessible paths, before walking into Windermere for a cuppa.

The weather has been lovely today. Its sunny and bright but quite windy with a nip in the air and the gritters where out!! Think its going to be a cold night but no doubt ill be on the mattress on the sitting room floor with Bella again.  She keeps me toasty warm once she's snuck under the duvet!!
