Our Homeless Adventures Day 3

A slow start to the day as Mr W had to do some work.

Our plan was to go and visit Barrow-in-Furness but luckily we ran out of time!!! (Not my idea of a fun day trip!!!). On our way, we stopped at Aira Force Falls, a beautiful waterfall in Penrith. Some of the paths were cut off due to a fallen tree.

We then drove past Ullswater Lake and stopped in Derwent Water, Keswick for a coffee and a look round the shops before taking the scenic route back past Grasmere and Lake Windermere and back to Sedbergh.

It was sad to see so many huge old trees down after the recent storms.

I love it up here. The scenery is just stunning.

I made spag bol for dinner with a box of choccies for pudding.

The weather is looking better for the next 3 days.
