It was a glorious morning as I took to the water with my Tuesday companion. The sun shone, the breeze blew gently and the tide was in as Sue and I bobbed gently in the swell. Had we been able to stay in longer we might have bobbed all the way to Joppa with the way the sea was taking us.

Home to find a message telling me my boiler service scheduled for this afternoon had been cancelled because both engineers had tested +ve for Covid. Although most people infected now find the virus like a bad cold, it seems it is still rampant in the community.
I just wonder when it will all end. I’m getting tired of masks and socially distancing.
