Basalt and Juniper

A beautiful day in Bend, Oregon with a temperature of 50 f/10c.  The unexpected warm weather, while delightful is also unsettling. Normally the average high temperature is 39°F (3.9°C) the average low-temperature is 27°F (-2.8°C). Tomorrow it's expected to be 61f/16c!

I met up with my brother and sister-in-law who also happened to be in Bend. We enjoyed a delightful hike through a couple of parks, including Sawyer Park, where I saw this rock formation.
