Dancing hoodie

Crows have a poor reputation, presumably because they're often seen scavenging, but they can really be quite elegant birds, and definitely intelligent. Went for a walk in Phoenix Park late this afternoon and got the usual photos of deer, gulls and crows.  This hooded crow took to the air as I approached and today's blip is just as he leaves the ground. But he got a dried oak leak caught in his left foot as he took off which hampered progress somewhat until he managed to shed it  after a few yards of hesitant flapping.
