The things you find in drawers!

There are still one or two drawers in this house not properly sorted.  In one of them I found this hidden under some other papers in a plastic bag.  I remember my Mum telling me that she was a member of the Band of Hope as a child, so I’m wondering if she was a member of the Good Templars by connection!  Anyway, Sister Joan was successful in the Juvenile Temple exam!  They seemed to have been against most things, including tobacco and alcohol.  My Mum never smoked or drank - she did take one sip of wine once (which she hated!)  - and this would probably have meant instant dismissal from this righteous band!
