Finished, but not finished!

This is now the full extent of how big the blanket is going to be. I’m going to put it widthways down the single bed it’s going on to make it long enough.  I forced myself to finish the main bit tonight, and actually quite enjoyed it.  I still have to do all the edging - am trying to work out a way to do it that will enable the ends down one edge to be crocheted in.  I also don’t want to do sewing - but I suspect I may have to!

Today’s sentence from Duolingo, “I can see the edge of the sandwich” (from our son’s Portuguese course!  Didn’t find anything funny on mine today).
