A different view

I was out on the towpath this morning and timed it fairly well. I spotted this very steep road going up Dumian Hill. Snow makes a difference as I'd not noticed it so clearly before. I've always liked the white house. It must have terrific views. The red sandstone cotttage is very typical of the Highlands. I've put in some extas. The bird is a female red-breasted merganser.
