Gardening

I always have mixed feelings about crocuses.  Often flattened in the rain in a muddy park, or hidden in the long grass.  But I planted about a hundred bulbs hoping for a drift of glory in spring sunshine. So far I’ve seen about six straggly pale purple flowers.  But it’s early days and I’ll plant more next year and remember to mow said area in December to keep it short in case more come through.

Spent quite a lot of the day gardening, cutting back ivy to reveal more snowdrops, cutting back the epimedium so that I see the flowers this year and de leafing the hellebores.

Went over to my mothers and sorted out her broadband and did a bit of garden tidying there as well.
