Not A Tulip In Sight

It was a bit blustery and moist when I went to the shops - no chance of a sunrise.

There were some things that went well - and some things went badly not so well at the lathe ... but as I was just 'time wasting' on a couple of spinning tops (of which I have dozens) it didn't really matter.

I knew what I wanted from a pictures of the roses.
I didn't really get it. But some of the 'failures' are over here.

The Calcutta Cup was being played today and I watched the second half.
What a roller coaster that was. Real nail biting stuff right up to the whistle. I really thought that England was going to take it but that  deliberate knock on into touch (think volleyball lay-up shot) cost them the game.
