Today’s Companions

What a horrible day it’s been weather wise, with both rain and wind.
I scuttled down town for provisions early, to avoid rugby visitors and scuttled straight home as Daughter #1 was not in the gallery today.

Nothing would have induced me to venture forth again so it was a cosy day indoors with the papers and knitting, always accompanied by Classic FM.

I did watch the Calcutta rugby teams run on to the pitch at Murrayfield in the afternoon but couldn’t bear to watch anymore until half time when I found Scotland in front but then I had another long session with Classic FM before plucking up courage to find the final score.- Phew, Scotland retain the Calcutta Cup but it was a close run thing. Not good for my blood pressure.
