Gold

There’s not much time for photography today, and, unusually, my camera doesn’t leave the house - though I do for a hair appointment followed by lunch with a friend. 


I’m glad it’s Flower Friday - another chance to use my macro lens, and besides I’ve lots of flowers here to photograph. A friend sent me a bouquet yesterday to cheer me up, and I have the remains other bunches I have bought myself.

I try a variety of shots of various floral subjects before deciding on a tulip - drooping and past its conventional best, of course.
