2022 Thursday — Third Birthday

Chances are nil that little Emillia will remember this event, but today she celebrated her third birthday. Tomorrow she begins her fourth trip circling the sun. She is our youngest great-granddaughter. We enjoy four great-grandchildren.

For this birthday, her mom, our granddaughter Desiree, pulled together an impromptu evening celebration with neighbors and friends. We did not attend because we’re approximately a 6 hour drive from their home. We did mail her a gift and it actually arrived on time.

We did enjoy the photos, and this is one that captures what a cutie pie Emillia is. It almost goes without saying that we do not get to see Emillia’s family nearly enough; I think the majority of grandparents would make that claim.

We are blessed abundantly to have four great-grandchildren: Tristan (who will be 15 in twelve days; Jade is 6; Emillia is 3; and RJ is 2 1/2 and belongs to our granddaughter Ashly.
