Baby Shark concerns
A visit to the hairdresser which feels like an occasion these days. They persist in taking your temperature with a gadget that is clearly unfit for the purpose, for the last 3 visits my temperature has been 3 degrees below what it should be; I didn’t bother to ask today. Still they do a great job and are clearly endeavouring to do the right thing.
I was available to babysit Liv just before 10 and we had an entertaining morning while L attended a virtual workshop on Incivility in the Workplace. The bits I overheard were fascinating and I can quite see that being mindful about this, and normalising the calling out, leads to increased productivity as well as equilibrium for staff and patients.
Unfortunately I now know all the lyrics to Baby Shark, and the actions. No wonder gender and age stereotypes are set by the time you’re 3. Those folk who had it in for The Tiger Who Came to Tea should turn their attention to this appalling offering. Worse still when I researched it this afternoon I realised that grandma and grandpa shark had no teeth. I decided not to mention this to L.
