Watchful Blue Tit

I love the way the wee birds land then watch out for other birds as if they are protecting thier share of the food at the feeder stations in the garden. I quite liked the acrobatic pose of this wee one today.

Had to wait in all afternoon for the Sky engineer to come to fix the satellite dish. This , after an early morning call , before 7 o'clock informing us he would be here between 2:15 and 4:00pm. Still no sign of him and am now waiting for the person on the other end of the phone line to speak to the engineer to find out why he hasn't turned up. currently now waiting for 21 minutes.

Why is it that services or which we make an additional payment never seem to match up to what has been agreed?

So no telly since Friday, not really a major problem but we have missed out on two series which we have been following.

Now off the phone after 36 minutes of waiting. Apparently the engineer is not coming as he claims to have tried to contact our landline twice this afternoon. What nonsense I have been working in the room beside the landline all afternoon. Now we have a new date,, engneeer will call on Wednesday. So much for efficienct service. I wonder if the compalints form which I have requested will materialise.

Sorry to sound off , I don't get angry often but this kind of disregard for customers really gets to me.now totally cheesed off, while Iwas typing this I got a call back saying they can't contact the engineer to confirm the rearranged date and also that we hvae to pay for the visit. This, despite having a Sky protect policy. Now he is checking up on the policy. As Victor Meldrew says " I don't believe it! " getting really fed up now with the canned "on hold " music. Watch this space for further developments , if any !!!
