Afternoon walk

An afternoon walk with Val, from Forge Dam into the Mayfield Valley.
There are works going on to clear and de-silt the large pond at Forge Dam. So various pathways are fenced off. We passed this collection of memorial benches that must have been temporarily moved out of the way. I couldn't decide whether they looked forlorn or almost like a companionable group of friends, waiting together.
