Total reward!

I am looking at our Reward policy for work and the benefits of each to employees. What motivates one person may not the other....it also links in with my assignment and uncannily it links to today's rather boring blip!! We had tree surgeons working in our garden today giving the trees a haircut and removing an old eucalyptus tree (yes they can and do grow in the UK, sadly ours is dead as door nails!) They have been here all day and also cut a few trees in our neighbours garden. Its been a warm day and they have done a great job. When they came to leave each one of them could not thank me enough for leaving them a thermos of tea / sugar / biscuits and a cool drink!! Apprently its very rare they get offered anything. Doesn't take much does it to make people feel appreciated......
