Castles and cupcakes!

Its M's birthday today so we met up in Inverness and had a lovely leisurely lunch (with lots of alliteration...) at Rocpool, followed by a bit of retail therapy, is it just us or does everyone buy themselves their own birthday present too?!
Then we bought a bottle of pink bubbly and a couple of glasses and took ourselves and our delicious raspberry birthday cupcakes up to the castle for a wee picnic (yes, Inverness has a castle too! A very small one :o) To be honest it was a tad windblown and we beat a retreat after one glass when a busload of tourists turned up and it started to rain!
Snuck the rest of our bottle in to a nearby winebar and had a very nice, slightly slurry, evening :O)

ps. I stupidly left my camera battery charging at home which I only realised when I tried to switch it on....yep, I'm a halfwit. So just had my phone again. Sorry for indistinct graininess, its really not the best for distance shots!
