Megabus blip

How I hate the Megabus! Travelling by train just seems so much more civilised. And is it just me or does something almost always go wrong on the bus trip?! Unfortunately I left it a bit late to book my train ticket this time and had to get the bus or pay an absolute fortune - I have to admit it did cross my mind.

It wasn't quite as bad as its been in the past though so can't really complain, nothing serious happened apart from the driver hitting another bus when we pulled into Inverness - but by that time it was mostly over so probably doesn't even count really....
No one was injured, just a bus crammed full of irate passengers cos it took a full 10 minutes to back out of the other bus again and its the bank holiday weekend and they had connections to make, which we were already late for having sat in Perth for half an hour.

However! No fire in the engine this time so thats a relief, no sitting off the motorway 20 miles outside Edinburgh for 2 hours due to some sort of failure they didn't want to inform us of, and no hung over bus driver speeding all the way down the road with his window wide open in the middle of winter looking decidedly green.

All in all not too bad a trip ;o) Sorry for the pants-ness of the blip!
