An Early Bluebell

More art in the park to enjoy, boy on bike, strange ducks on lily pond , dog on and off lead and to top it all a sighting of the resident kingfisher . I’ve noted one of its perching posts so now we know where to look when we are next in the park . It’s a reassuring sign that the river had some fish in it !

On the way home I spotted a stonechat on a bush that grows in a triangle of abandoned woodland adjacent to our street .Another good sign of improving diversity , the power of letting land rejuvenate itself perhaps.

It’s been a good Arthur day with lots of play and then a trip to the pet shop so that Arthur could see the animals and choose some treats for Bramble .
He and Bramble are very wary of each other so we thought we would try and get Arthur to play some games with her . He took real care choosing the treats and really melted my heart as he visited the different animals and fish and asked them how they were in a very gentle voice . This morning I heard him say “well done “ to each of his cars as he lined them up .
He brings us such joy !

I’m trying to play around with my photos a bit more but I have to do the editing on my phone which has a small screen. I don’t get a clear view of what I’ve done until I’ve posted it on blip when I can then check it in the larger screen of my iPad .
I was happy with the composition of this shot but not the lighting . I’ve had a go at improving it but now that I’ve seen it on the bigger screen I can see that the colours are too vibrant . Oh well , will do better next time , maybe?
