Acoustic Guitar

As another month starts, I have decided to be more concise with my journal entries. I do have a tendency to waffle unnecessarily and need to stop that.
And, yes, I do appreciate the irony of those first two sentences (and this one!) adding nothing to todays blip.
I got my acoustic bass back yesterday after it had been fettled at R&T Music. Sharp fret ends now polished smooth, a set of flatwound strings fitted and set up with a nice low action. It plays very nicely and, even after the refurb costs, still represents an absolute bargain compared to a new one.
So the unplugged collection now comprises the Ibanez bass, the Taylor GTe shorter scale acoustic and the Fender Telecaster Acoustasonic (which gives a range of tones from dreadnought to crunchy electric) thus covering all bases. And under the lamp table you can just see my Blackstar B.E.A.M amp, which can be used with bass, acoustic and electric guitars so I can plug any one of these in if I do want an amplified sound.
A quiet day all round otherwise, the highlight being that I had a hair cut. It gets greyer each time, but at least I’ve still got some left to cut.
