So It Begins (Isolation Day 1)

The usual coffee and toast start to the day and then off to Threemilestone and the Ambulance Trust PCR Testing Centre. This was my fifth or sixth PCR Test but the first where I had the swab done for me. This is a “no news is good news” system, you only receive a text if you test positive.
Home to isolate but having checked beforehand and received a bit of an ambivalent reply I shall be masking up later to walk Paddy, round the block only, and crossing or moving to avoid people coming towards me.
Of course soon as you are prevented from doing something the urge to do it becomes more pressing but I resisted the urge and joined Paddy in staring out of the window at the world passing by.

Some good news on the rugby front, both Joshua and I have been notified of our inclusion in the “advanced sales groups” of our respective Service Associations for 2022’s Army v Navy match at Twickenham.

Todays photo, the EPIC Veterans Gig, one of the things I shall miss over the coming weeks.
