Shepherd's delight

Red sky at night, shepherd's delight. I've never been sure quite what that is meant to signify other than tomorrow should be a fine day. It was a pretty spectacular sunset which acted as a backcloth to the dramatic winter branches of a neighbour's tree. So, Monday should be a cold sunny day which will make my appointment at the dental hygienist a little more tolerable.
