Priory Sunburst

I loved the sunburst effect of the light coming through a stained glass window.  The bell ringers were ringing a peal this morning, so that was the backdrop to my welcoming shift, while I watched somewhat apprehensively as the verger balanced high over the altar putting up the candles for tomorrow's Candlemas services.  After joining a friend for a yummy vegetarian medley pie in a nearby restaurant we returned to the Priory to find the bells still pealing away after a good three hours.
