It’s our 26th wedding anniversary today. 26 years ago, it was snowing.

Anyway, it was a strange day for a wedding anniversary as Elbows had meetings in London; lots of them; and he couldn’t avoid them. So he was out all day and not back until the small hours as he was hosting an annual dinner and awards evening.

So left to my own devices, I did my usual Bible study at church, met with some friends from ‘The Pigeon Squad’ for lunch, which was lovely, shopped, cooked supper for the others and then went swimming with this merry bunch.

This was the London Fields Lido. A really great outdoor pool.

A good day, albeit a busy day. :-)
