It’s our 25th Wedding Anniversary today and I had another chilled day with another wonderful long dog walk in another part of Epping Forest and another takeaway.

There are advantages and disadvantages of having a wedding anniversary the day after a birthday.

In the evening, we were told to keep out of the way whilst something was being sorted in the living room.

Oh big joy. The kids were all on a zoom and all wearing ‘silver’ foil, as they shared a digitalised home video of our wedding day. It was a complete surprise, not least because we’d never seen it; didn’t even know it existed.

It was wonderful for us all to see it. My parents well and strong. David’s Nanna and uncles upright and well. My fabulous siblings and the parts they played in the day. I need to watch it again now.
