Spring Crocus

It's milder today ... but without the sun, Spring it ain't!

This Crocus albiflorus needed a little indoor warming to open the flowers.   There's not much sunshine in the forecast right now so a few more may get the same treatment over the coming days as the milder weather will see more flowers appear.

A quiet day, matching the weather.   More Achimenes sorting and eBay listing is ongoing.   Assorted bits of good news coming in regarding Ruth's hoped for flat purchase - all of a sudden I may be very busy .... and needing to be in two places at once!    By the time I took Meg out it was mizzling which turned to heavy drizzle for a while so it was a soggy doggy that returned after a ball field trip.   Home-made Spag Bol for tea and off to see Jamie in a bit.   A quiet but fairly full day.
