Having A Picnic

The fine weather continues. Pat thought a picnic is appropriate for today.

Birnie and Gadden Loch nature reserve was the agreed destination and we headed off.  The trick is to stay in the sun and away from the cold wind. This is easily accomplished.

During our walk around the lochs we came across a friendly deaf dog taking his owners for a walk. We knew he was deaf as his colourful jacket confirmed his status.

He is certainly able to communicate with his owners’ voice and we decided that he can either lipread or his is telepathic.

The highlight of the picnic was hot smoked salmon and the extra is a "cartoon" of Pat enjoying her portion.

We were pleased to see that very little storm damage had occurred to the trees surrounding both lochs.
