Rabbit Sculpture
This week has been cold and wet so far. The sky can be just grey.
However, we jumped in the car, complete with masks and hand sanitizer. The sky to the east did promise sun. We headed to St Andrews, and drove along the West Sands drive. There were quite a few cars parked and the beach looked crowded. We decided against going for a walk on the beach and headed back home by a circuitous route.
Today’s Blipfoto is of a rabbit sculpture by Pat. Her first attempt at a clay sculpture. This is a cast of the original. A second copy is resident in California.
Of course we still have the mould.
Today for lunch we had Cullen Skink which is a magical wonderful fish soup; almost a fish stew.
The rabbit sculpture is over 30cm long. It was inspired by the ArtDeco rabbit ceramic in the extra. It is 5cm long.
Apart from “Made in England" there is no other mark.
We are thinking of making a range of pull handles based on the design.
