Covid Kev still off so took a bit longer to get everything fed. Didn't help when a lorry arrived in with protein blend in ton totes to be unloaded.
Eventually got next door to bring in the 34 bulling heifers and the Angus bull . They got their backs clipped to stop them sweating ,a wormer / liver fluke injection then shut in a shed for the rest of the winter.
Back home and mucked out and bedded all the cows bar one shed which I'll hopefully get done tomorrow. It's great to actually get left alone to do some tractor work once in a while .
Nipped away to Macmerry to get some hydraulic fittings from Lothian Tractors for the hoses on the silage shear grab. It was a glorious winter sunset on the way home but by the time I got off the main roads onto the quieter ones it was too dark to stop for a photo so you'll just need to make do with another tractor one......
