Welsh Bridge, Shrewsbury

This afternoon F picked me up and we went to Shrewsbury, I needed to take my compact camera to Jessops to be repaired. I don’t normally take out a warranty when I buy things but luckily I did this time. The insurance runs out next month so luckily it’s still covered.

Today was a rare occasion for F, he went clothes shopping. He got everything that he wanted in one famous shop without any faffing around. That will last him a while now!

We walked back to the car in the sunshine and passed the Welsh Bridge which crosses the River Severn on the Welsh side of town. The big building behind it is the town’s theatre, Theatre Severn.
Afterwards we called to see my brother M and J. We had a cup of tea and a good chat with them, he’s looking so much better now which is great, it was lovely to see them both.

We have an excellent chippie in the village and enjoyed fish and chips for tea when we got back. Now to watch Winterwatch on TV.
