A Light Touch

Fresh snow overnight and the trees were covered this morning. A bright sunny and cold (15°F) day followed. I went for a brisk walk in the morning but without my camera and even so it was uncomfortable.

Later in the day, it had warmed slightly when I went looking for a blip. There was a bit of nice colour in the sky as the sun dipped behind some clouds. I exposed for the highlights leading to an overly dark image. 5 graduated filters, a radial and an adjustment brush later, I seemed to have achieved an acceptable outcome. A light touch - I think not.
