My sleepy boy

Didn’t get a chance to sort out a still life for todays MonoMonday theme so I’ve given you a colour shot of a very sleepy dog.

I’m a sleepy blipper today as I had a very poor sleep so I don’t think I’ll be too late tonight.

The morning flew past with sorting out fresh water and the waste water before taking Phin out for a shortish walk. He had time for a swim so had fun.

Headed over to the house around 2 to find Mr PHL a little frustrated at the bill from the electrician - the materials cost wasn’t broken down so it’s difficult to see why we’ve been charged the sun requested. He was also grumpy as he’d slept badly too and hadn’t managed to eat anything as he was confined to the bedroom.
It didn’t help matters that the one replacement door that arrived last week was damaged and needed yet another call to the contact centre. To top it all, the builder had neglected to wear safety glasses when cutting the worktop to size for the breakfast bar and had managed to get a bit of wood in his eye! he went home and was seen by the hospital and fortunately hasn’t caused too much damage beyond an irritated retina so he’s hoping to be back tomorrow. Good for us but I hope he stays away if he needs to.

I had my first dental hygienist appointment in more than 2 years and the damage wasn’t as bad as I’d suspected but I have a few extra steps to take before my next appointment in April. It was pretty painless too which was a bonus.

Picked up some M&S ready cooked curry for dinner then headed back to the house. My washing machine has finally been replumbed so I managed to get some clothes (and more importantly walking socks) washed and hung up before I came back to the van. Phin had a walk round the stream (well we went round 3 times and the dogs ran about madly) with 2 doggy chums we met on the way so that took up the washing machine cycle.
