Rusky

Our daughters dog stayed here after Sunday lunch today and seems very settled. He is on fairly powerful drugs to keep him calm.
A calming bed is one which is like a donut and is made of warm cosy fleece. The dog sinks into it and feels well supported. We will wait for the local pet shop to get their stock this week. In the meantime we have made him a cosy nest out of a fleece blanket and he seems to approve. He has some x-rays booked for Wednesday in the hope it’s will reveal his problem.
He is a Russian Bolonka and came to England from Russia when he was a few months old. Our daughter adopted him when he was 7 months old. When he came he was a very nervous unhappy little dog. He disliked tall men and would run and hide. Thankfully, with lots of patience and kindness he is now a much more relaxed little dog. He is now six years old.
