"Heading Out To Sea Today"

...Down in the "Big Smoke" we are for a few days, and we thought we'd visit our favorite beach - the beach I, as a child, holidayed at..

But now, there are marinas, with huge white boats of all kinds, and big break -waters. A very beautiful beachside suburb, no wonder it is so popular..

.... But the beach and surrounds was absolutely buzzing with visitors, some with little ones in pushers, speaking in the language of their country. So different it is now from when I was little, but it's fun to walk around..and visit the varied places of eating and to see the places of old.. Whilst there, I blipped this little boat heading out to sea, with the sunlight on the water and part of the breakwater in view...

....We walked along the Marina Prominade, a popular place for visitors, and for lunch we chose to eat at a Japanese Steak House. We had teriaki something, crumbed chicken and pork, soup, sushi salad, and seafood (John had the seafood - I had the pork and rice) and dipping sauces, with assorted fruit.

.... In all, a hearty lunch, but we needed that as I wasn't well enough to go out for a meal last night...and crackers had to do...
