."...and it always amazes me how the shutter speed on the camera can give the image that the plane propeller has all but stopped - that's how clever these shutters are, we don't think about it at the time, but here it is - we're not gliding I can tell you., we're going flat out judging by the sound of the 2-engine, 22-seater, prop-jet plane, cruising at 500 klm p.h. at 18,000 ft.....
And ofcourse, looking down, on our way from Mildura to Adelaide - it looked pretty dry down there. But then, we haven't had much in the way of a good drop of rain since last July, just a few drops to whet our appetites..
The sun on the clouds in the distance makes the clouds look like snow - I think about the closest I'll get to snow unless we visited parts of Australia in winter or Tasmania...
I have to see 2 specialists, and catch up with a few friends, and we're pleased it's going to be lovely weather here as well for the next few days...
We have a lot of the National swimmers competing here, arriving today as well, bus loads of the young people and good luck to them too.
Our grand daughter 14, is competing in Cairns, with basketball at the moment, and our grandson is competing in Brisbane next week with basketball, so it's busy all round..
