Spring comes to Michigan

This is the Lake Macatawa Channel which connects the western edge with Lake Michigan. The eastern end of the lake is marked by industrial developmen with a coal-fired power plant, scrap metal recycling facility, pharmaceutical production plant, aggregate mineral loading dock, and a H.J. Heinz. pickle production facility. If you swim in Lake Mac you will smell like pickles.

In the summer, this spot is a great place to see some spectacular boats.
