Slips and falls

My secluded campsite is filling up, 2 new vans arrived yesterday which meant I had to queue for the toilet this morning, imagine! 
Busy morning topping up the fresh water, emptying the waste and finally taking my turn at emptying the toilet cassette. Don’t know what Mr PHL has complained about all these years, it was a breeze. 

Popped home to see the patient, talk to the electrician and have a shower. Mr PHL is feeling much better and managing to eat so think he’s on the mend. 

Back to the van to eat some soup for lunch before my friend was due to arrive with her dogs for a walk in the woods. She has Clyde, a 7 year old black lab and Una, an 8 month old fox red lab and though we haven’t seen Una for a few months, she and Phin got on well the last time they met.

It was a good walk despite me slipping down a small slope and managing to roll sideways to the bottom (slight bruise to my rear end but no other injuries) and the more serious fall was Phin and Una managing to roll off the side of the path down into the river below when they were jostling past each other. We think it was a drop of 20+ feet but luckily they both seemed fine and not too hurt or upset bu their experience. We had to walk a good few yards before we came to a shallow enough but of the path for them to clamber out of the river. That was when we noticed Una’s eye, she seems to have scraped the skin off in 2 places. Poor wee scone. 
After some cuddles and a few treats we carried on and we’re out for 2 hours in totals, covered a distance of just over 4 miles and climbed the equivalent of more than 50 sets of stairs.  

Made a massaman curry and rice for dinner and delivered a portion to Mr PHL before coming back to eat mine.
