Walk in the sunshine

I had arranged to walk with a good friend and her black Labrador called Scout.  We walked for five miles and chatted all the way - laughing and reminiscing.  We have been friends for over 30 years first meeting at antenatal classes.  Our girls have remained friends too.  We have both been through ups and downs but good friends remain constant.

OH was playing golf and I was pleased the weather was good for him.  He came home and washed both cars before eating (last night's) jacket potato - so we were not hungry for dinner and had cheese and biscuits instead.  We watched a great film on Netflix called 'Munich - edge of war'.  Really good film - with Jeremy Irons as a very believable Neville Chamberlain.  Can't say the same thing for the chap playing Hitler (but it must be horrible being cast in that role?).
