Another walk

Today was a furlough day so I met a friend for a walk. She suggested a local park which was quite busy? I have heard that the local authority had spent a lot of money on the park but I failed to see where today?

She is looking forward to all the nonsense being over and being able to get out and about again. They have an artic cruise booked for November so here’s hoping that will go ahead. If we still have restrictions by November it will really be the end?!

Home for lunch and then I baked a carrot cake. I used pecans and sultanas - with the cream cheese and butter frosting it’s going to a goody (at around 1000 calories a slice I guess?). Tea and cake a bit later. I’m enjoying these furlough days!
