Birthday Boo

Happy 30 something..... Birthday to my scrumptious Bobble Bake!

She awoke to a smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast in bed, followed by my excitement of giving her her presents! They seemed to all be greatfully received. I was especially excited at the meatball cookbook I bought her!!

Her 'main' present was a 2 night trip to Barcelona in our own apartment, which I think I may be more looking forward too! Just to escape the cold and windy weather of England, if anything.

Today though we took a day out to a little town called Bakewell, which was pleasent. Especially the local delicacies...

All in all, I hope she enjoyed her gifts and her day out. I just wished, for her sake, that her family and friends shared our same celebratory passion for people's birthday. Let's hope the day isn't remembered for the negatives...
