Eyelashes!

I tried different settings on my cameras today, looking for a soft glow effect, but not much looked good.  So we just walked, in a new village deep in its own valley near Beaminster, and found a herd of cows.  They seemed to be waiting for something to happen – milking, food?  But they were calm, not at all skittish and allowed this otherwise unremarkable photo.

But in other news, I won several places in the Landscape competition of the Bridport Camera Club!  My first ever success!  Hurrah!  Yes, there weren't many others in the section, and it was Section B, but perhaps I'll be promoted . . .

The winning shot was of part of the harbour at West Bay – the second Extra on that day, a drone shot.
