A Banjo…or is it??

Banjo’s have 4 or 5 strings. This one has 6. A Banjo is tuned GDGBD. A 6 string banjo, also called a Banjaguitar, or gitjo is strung and played like a guitar. I wanted an instrument for a few tunes that had a banjo sound, but I didn’t want to learn another complete set of chords. I play guitar & Ukelele and that’s enough for me. I’m seeing more and more 6 string banjos on country music videos lately so I’m in good company.
