Back in Familiar Territory
It was a daily weekday visit for 33 days, but that was over three months ago, so returning today was bitter sweet. Today was for blood tests to see how my body has responded to the radiotherapy; next week I return to get the results and discuss my prognosis.
As ever the phlebotomist was expert, finding the vein on the first go. For someone who was petrified of injections they are so common these days as to be unremarkable. In and out in less than 5 minutes and then back to home to continue work.
Tomorrow will be a red letter day, but more of that in the next post.
