Ring of Bright Water

Had a lovely journey to Mid Wales this morning. A beautiful day, lots of gorgeous scenery, hills and snow capped mountains. Sis-in-law's house in Langurig is perfectly lovely, an Arts and Crafts Listed building attributed to W.A.S. Benson (Designer) and full of sis-in-law's wonderful collection of arts 'n' crafts of all kinds.

After leisurely lunch we went to the Red Kite feeding Centre on the way to Aberystwyth. It was an amazing sight to see so many of these wonderful birds together with their colouring outlined by the sun and bright blue sky. I didn't get one decent shot!!

We had a walk by the River Wye in the early evening and I loved the sparkles on the clear water - no trout today.
