Life is like a Butterfly....still
We went to Butterfly world with Stew, Jo and the kids today. Steve and I went there a few years ago and were excited to see the finished Dome and park they were building which was due to open in 2013.
Unfortunately it still isn't there.
We still had a lovely day though and it was nice to see some sunshine and blue skies. It was such a joy for it to not be painfully cold.
After Butterfly world we went to Kings Langley, the town that Steve and I are looking to move to. We drove by the new house and then into the village high street to try out our new potential local pub where we had a lovely lunch sitting outside!
Once back to ours Aidan and I baked some Lemon cupcakes but I really wasn't happy with how they turned out.
Following some more tomfoolery and laughs the kids were bathed, read a bedtime story and off to bed before we adults had some food and a wee drink. I have such a laugh with my sister and her husband and despite the sibling teasing of one another I am grateful they make the journey and I get to enjoy this precious time with my family.
