Farm at the head of the glen

Cathleen and I  (and the dogs) walked up a forest track at the head of Glendaruel today which we hadn't been on before.

This  opened up some new views including this of one of the local farms, and )in my extra photos) a tree covered in lichen,  the ruins of Dunans Castle and a long view looking down to the Kyles of Bute, with rain coming in.    

Fortunately we were home by the time it started.
