Surprise, surprise!

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, stay calm and carry on- motto for today.

The sunrise was dramatically fiery this morning and although the shepherds were warned they need not have bothered because the weather stayed dry and windless until dark.

The tide was out again at Porty when we dooked. Why does it seem always to be out? It rarely seems to be in when we visit, not that it matters other than having a long trek to the water(6.5° almost Mediterranean!)

There was a quick turnaround once back home to visit the corridors of power in the NHS and pop in for a cup of tea and chat with friends at Maggie’s.

Suffice it to say, It’s been a surprising day for me.
