Snowmageddon

We'd been lamenting the lack of snow this winter - but not to the extent that we wanted it all to come on the same day.

In the end, we only got 49cm by the end of the afternoon, but it seemed interminable.

The first day of back to school for the kids saw all the schools closed because of snowfall... Fine by me. Ottawacker Jr. got to work a little in the morning, a bit in the afternoon, and then go out and sloop in the snow for about 3 hours at the end of the day.

49cm though... Back down to minus 20 tomorrow.

Other than that, a quiet day. Quick chat with friends out west; cooked a roast chicken for dinner that refused to cook and so we are having it tomorrow; beat the rest of the family with ease at Scrabble; and spent a fair bit of time looking out the window wondering when the snow would ever stop.
